WORKSHOP FOREMAN
- Location: Johannesburg
- Start Date: ASAP
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL, TECHNICAL AND EXPERIENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 or equivalent Technical certificate, and Tertiary Trade qualification
- Tertiary Production and Stock management related qualification will be advantageous
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as Workshop Mechanic OR 5 years in a Factory / Production environment, preferably in the Construction sector – Construction industry knowledge is required
- Competence on IT systems MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Ability to perform basic electrical applications and to work with hand tools and power tools
- Ability and experience in working at heights
- Technical fault finding and solution application
- Welding experience: Tig, Arc, CO2, and Spot welding
- Risk assessment qualification and good knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety legislation
- Managerial skills to assist with Site management, oversee workshop staff and co-ordinate their workloads
- Ability to develop, implement and maintain production systems
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
- Valid SA Drivers license with own transportv
